Location: The Magic Mirror....69 N. Broad Street Milford ct. Phone 203-876-8832, make sure to call for RSVP we need a headcount and for sign in, thanks.

The Red Tent Temple is a vision held in the spirit of community as a group to honor our Sacred Divine Feminine. The intention is that within the space of the red tent we care for one another and be cared for , with healing, nourishment, song, meditation, storytelling, council, quiet, rest , herbs, and sharing together.
Come to be heard, to heal, to relax and be quiet, share, journal, create healing art, read, utilize the Goddess Oracles, eat healing soup, drink belly teas, receive reiki energy, have a hand massage, or have your hair brushed. There will be unstructured time from 11:00am to 2:20pm.
Formal Circle will begin at 2:30pm and is a time for all women 18 and up to share what is in their hearts as we listen deeply to what she has to say whatever it is. We laugh, we sing, we cry, and revel in each others company. This is a place to share one story, an insight, a poem, and the storytellers chair is a wonderful place to speak your wisdom if you so choose. There is a tears bowl to release our hurts and renew ourselves.... We stop to be heard- westop to listen- we stop to enjoy this day of our daughters becoming a woman and to nourish and celebrate our womanhood.

All girls menarche age and up welcome in the Red Tent. Only women 18 and up may come into the formal circle at 2:30pm, so please make accomadations for the girls you bring 17 and under at this time.! Thank you. ( Next month we will post a group that will be available for girls menarche age to 17, they will be in an adjacent room and will be doing some learning, crafts, talking and understanding just how special they are and how wonderful it is to become a women. We honor these girls!

This is ana ongoing monthly event as close as can be to the New Moon, Traditionaly this is the time women spent together in their Red Tents or Moon Lodges. Women in large family or community groups would generally have their moon time together at the Dark of the Moon. This is a free event but donations are welcome as they help us pay for the room rental and supplies needed to bring The Red Tent to us.

Information for The Red Tent--
Please wear socks so shoes can be removed, a good idea is to lock your purse in your car trunk so you won't have to worry about it at all. This is quiet unstructured time so please keep talking low, if you hear the bell ring this means quiet down and is just to keep our focus for the day. And don't forget to call or e mail to reserve your spaces so we can have enough healing soup and belly teas! Remember this is a girls and womens event only!
